Welcome to Ann Visger K-5 Preparatory Academy,

Ann Visger is an excellent school with outstanding students, parents, teachers, and support personnel. We are very proud of our school and the wonderful things that are occurring at our school to ensure that every child receives a quality education that will prepare them for their future. Our teachers and staff have very high expectations for all students. Our goal is to ensure that we meet your child’s academic and social needs in a safe and nurturing environment. We offer free latchkey, before and after school, and after school tutoring. Students also have an opportunity to join the Junior League football team or cheerleader squad (the registration fee is waived for enrolled River Rouge students).

We are constantly adjusting our curricula to guarantee that each child receives engaging, rigorous and motivating instruction each and every day. Students are given quarterly assessments to monitor their academic progress. The data from the quarterly assessments is used to guide teachers in instruction delivery and curricula adjustments. Our teachers collaboratively work together to create classroom environments and learning opportunities that are conducive to student learning. We strongly encourage our parents and community members to be an active part in the educational process as we strive for excellence.
